Chinese cuisine is one of the world's most diverse, offering many distinctive styles and ingredients representative of China's geographic regions. One thing common to most Chinese dishes, however, is the signature flavor medley of peppers, garlic, ginger and onions. An old Chinese saying states that, "People regard food as their prime want." With dishes as beautifully prepared and delicately seasoned as those found in Chinese cuisine, it is no mystery that this adage remains as true today as it was thousands of years ago.
